About the Role:
This is a senior delivery and stakeholder management role within the Digital Initiatives (DX) tower of the IT function at a leading automotive manufacturing organization. The DX business unit manages the company's data science, AI, analytics, Power BI, and visualization programs and runs in collaboration with global technology counterparts.
The person in this role will serve as the nerve center for all digital projects in flight, owning delivery governance, leadership reporting, and cross-functional coordination. This is an executive-facing position that requires strong communication, business sense, and the ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Governance and Oversight:
- Maintain visibility across all active digital projects across the DX portfolio.
- Track project health, timelines, dependencies, and risks across data science, AI, analytics, and visualization workstreams
- Own status reporting for all projects and ensure leadership always has a current and accurate picture
Stakeholder and Leadership Communication
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly updates to CIO, MD, and senior leadership
- Serve as the single point of coordination between internal IT teams and regional counterparts (TMS, Thailand, Singapore)
- Translate technical progress into business language for executive audiences
Business Development Support
- Maintain awareness of the full pipeline of approved projects and upcoming digital initiatives
- Proactively identify and surface new project and engagement opportunities within the account
- Ensure implemented projects are delivered properly and create a foundation for follow-on work
Cross-team Coordination
- Work closely with data scientists, BI developers, AI engineers, and analytics teams across projects
- Facilitate collaboration across internal teams and vendor partners
- Handle PMO functions: RAID logs, steering call prep, project documentation, and governance frameworks
Skills and Experience:
Must Have
- 8-10 years of overall experience in IT delivery, program management, or PMO functions
- Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and keeping leadership informed
- Confident communicator who can hold their own in executive-level conversations
- Basic working knowledge of data science, AI, analytics, or BI concepts (does not need to be hands-on technical, but must be able to engage credibly with technical teams)
- Experience collaborating with global or regional stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good to Have
- Exposure to tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or enterprise IT environments
- Prior experience working with Japan-headquartered or APAC organizations
- Familiarity with Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
