Join our team as a Mobile Game Developer, specializing in Solar2D (formerly Corona SDK). You will play a pivotal role in bringing innovative gameplay experiences to life on both iOS and Android platforms, focusing on delivering fast, monetization-ready prototypes and high-performance games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and build cross-platform mobile games using Solar2D with Lua scripting.
- Implement core gameplay mechanics and game systems from concept to deployment.
- Optimize game performance for seamless experiences across a wide variety of mobile devices.
- Integrate monetization features such as in-app purchases and ad networks to ensure games are market-ready.
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers to iterate and refine gameplay.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in game development.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience developing mobile games with Solar2D (Corona SDK) and Lua scripting language.
- Strong understanding of cross-platform game deployment for both iOS and Android.
- Demonstrated ability to prototype quickly and efficiently in fast-paced environments.
- Solid knowledge of optimizing mobile game performance and managing device compatibility.
- Experience integrating monetization solutions such as ads and in-app purchases.
