Key Responsibilities
- Develop and curate training materials, case scenarios, and activities for AI learning based on real-world recreational therapy practices.
- Instruct AI models on recreational therapy concepts such as sports, arts, music, dramatics, relaxation techniques, and social activities tailored to diverse patient needs.
- Review and annotate AI outputs, providing expert feedback to ensure accuracy, empathy, and compliance with medically-approved therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate patient care scenarios into actionable AI training data.
- Assess and recommend improvements to AI systems to optimize their understanding of recreational therapy interventions and outcomes.
- Utilize exceptional written and verbal communication skills to document findings, report progress, and communicate therapeutic concepts to technical teams.
- Stay updated with best practices and emerging trends in recreational therapy to continuously refine AI capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current or prior experience as a Recreational Therapist in clinical settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, or rehabilitation centers.
- Strong understanding of therapy program planning, patient assessment, and activity modification.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clear and compassionate language.
- Ability to observe, analyze, and document patient reactions, participation, and therapy outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized therapy treatment plans.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or equivalent credential.
