Job Summary:
We are scaling an elite remote linguistics pod for a high-precision AI speech dataset project. We are looking for native Amharic speakers with strong digital literacy, exceptional grammar, and high attention to detail to transcribe, format, and review audio datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe speech into written
- Amharic strictly adhering to project style guidelines.
- Apply precise time-stamping, speaker diarization, and noise/overlap tagging.
- Maintain a consistent quality benchmark, passing internal
- Quality Assurance (QA) audits with ≥98%\ge 98\%≥98% accuracy.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Language: Native-level proficiency in Amharic (both spoken and written; familiarity with regional Ethiopian dialects is a strong plus).
- Equipment: A reliable personal laptop/PC, stable high-speed internet connection, and over-ear headphones.
- Experience: Previous background in transcription, translation, data annotation, or linguistic fieldwork.
