Job Summary:
We are engaging FreeCAD Experts to collaborate on a project supporting a in the mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design sector. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
Scope of Work:
- Author objective, precise, and non-guessable question-and-answer sets based on multi-part CAD assemblies provided in native FreeCAD format.
- Analyze complex mechanical designs, focusing on geometry, assembly relations, and engineering function to craft several technical questions per assembly.
- Ensure each question has an exact, verifiable answer that requires application of domain expertise.
- Deliver high-quality written content, demonstrating clarity and technical accuracy in both questions and answers.
- Collaborate asynchronously via written and verbal communication to clarify requirements, review feedback, and iterate on deliverables.
- Document insights or ambiguities encountered during the writing process to support continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive background in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or industrial design with strong foundational CAD knowledge.
- Significant experience working with multi-part assemblies and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with FreeCAD or comparable CAD platforms; Direct FreeCAD experience is a plus but not a strict requirement.
- Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrated ability to author detailed technical questions or training material for engineering applications.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing objective, assessment-ready content.
- Profile with an expert or consultant who values accuracy and clarity in consistent technical communication.
